THIS is worth a read…
There’s so much talk around medical weight loss at the moment, and I think many people started out hoping it might be the closest thing we’ve ever had to a “magic pill”.
Take it. Lose weight. Job done.
But more and more people are discovering that if nothing else changes… nothing really changes.
You can keep increasing the dose and hoping for the best, but what about the habits that got you there in the first place?
What are you eating?
Are you drinking enough?
Are you getting enough protein?
What happens when your weight stalls?
What happens when you want to reduce or stop?
And most importantly… what’s your plan for keeping the weight off?
Medication can absolutely be a useful tool for some people, but a tool still needs a plan around it.
And THIS is one of the things I love most about The 1:1 Diet. 💙
You’re not doing it on your own.
You have your own personal Consultant. Your coach. Your cheerleader. The person who celebrates the losses, helps you through the gains, picks you up after the wobbles and helps you make a plan when things aren’t going quite right.
Sometimes you have someone who wants you to succeed even more than you do in that moment!
It’s not just about handing you products and sending you on your way.
It’s accountability.
It’s support.
It’s learning.
It’s changing habits.
It’s having someone genuinely invested in seeing you succeed.
That’s why I found this story so incredibly . Abby lost an incredible 5 stone without weight loss medication, using an approach that has been helping people for decades.
There’s nothing particularly glamorous about changing habits, having structure and being accountable.
But it works.
And whether you choose The 1:1 Diet, medical weight loss, or another route entirely, I genuinely believe the long term answer has to include changing something.
Because losing the weight is one part of the journey.
Learning how to keep it off is another.
