Working in Acute Medicine means no two days are ever the same. Every shift involves assessing patients with complex and often life threatening conditions, making rapid clinical decisions, interpreting investigations, and providing evidence based care under pressure.

This advanced clinical knowledge doesn't stay in the hospital - it comes with me into every aesthetics clinic. A thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, patient assessment, and recognising complications means patient safety is always at the heart of every treatment I provide.

Alongside my role in Acute Medicine, I'm also proud to be an Aesthetic Trainer, helping to educate and mentor healthcare professionals to deliver safe, ethical, evidence based aesthetic practice.

Continuous learning, clinical excellence, and patient safety are values I carry into every aspect of my career, whether I'm caring for patients in hospital or helping clients achieve natural, confidence boosting results in clinic.

✨ Hi, I'm Sian! ✨

I thought it was time to reintroduce myself for everyone who's joined our community recently.

I'm Sian, founder of SS Skin Medical Aesthetics, a Registered Nurse who qualified in 2008 with over 18 years of NHS experience, a Nurse Prescriber, Aesthetic Trainer and I'm currently completing my Master's as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Acute Medicine.

My passion has always been helping people feel like the best version of themselves through safe, evidence-based treatments that enhance natural beauty while supporting long-term skin health.

Following my own breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, I experienced first-hand how much our skin can change through illness, hormones, and life. That journey inspired me to create Dear Skin Resilience Cream, developed to support the skin barrier and nurture skin that's been through it all.
