Chair Yoga - Complete

A big thank you to Wild Heart Yogi Annette for facilitating our chair yoga sessions which finished up last week.

We received some fantastic feedback from those who took part, it was great to hear how much everyone enjoyed the sessions and the positive impact it had on their wellbeing.

This programme was delivered as part of the Empowering Change Project which is supported by funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. Thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund and to Lottery Players whose support make it possible.

Upcoming Programme - Understanding Grief & Loss - Remaining Spaces

Grief & Loss can be difficult to experience with a number of different emotions often present.

This programme aims to support participants to have increased knowledge and understanding of the grieving process, discuss their experiences of grief as well as to learn and practices techniques which can support them more effectively.

Programme Details
Dates: Tuesday 15th September – Tuesday 6th October (4 weeks)
Time: 10.00am - 11.30am
Location: Training Room, Koram Centre, 12 Railway Street, Strabane

Connecting with Others & Our Past Project

As part of our Connecting with Others and Our Past Project, participants took part in a residential trip to Irvinestown.

As part of this we held discussions on Integrated Education, facilitated by the Integrated Education Fund. This included exploring the origins of the Integrated Education (IEF) movement , it's growth and challenges and the role it can play in promoting Peace and Reconciliation.

Many thanks to everyone who took part and to Jill and Jessica from the IEF.

A special word of thanks to members of the Dennett Valley Men's Shed for their continued partnership and support on the programme.
