Ambleside is a purpose-built Care UK home in Stratford-upon-Avon. The care home provides professional and personalised residential care, as well as short-term respite care and sensitive end of life care. The superbly decorated interiors include a coffee shop, hair and beauty salon, cinema and spacious en-suite bedrooms, many of which open onto large, secure gardens. Other rooms have stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The dedicated team believe that moving into a care home is just another part of life, and they are passionate about supporting residents to enjoy a wonderful, fulfilling lifestyle. The residents had a fantastic day out at Birdland in Bourton-on-the-Water today

We enjoyed exploring the beautiful grounds, seeing all the wonderful birds and wildlife, and taking in the lovely scenery. There were plenty of smiles, lots of interesting things to see, and of course, some lovely time spent together. 🦉🦩🦆

It was a brilliant day filled with fresh air, laughter and happy memories. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the trip so enjoyable!

This achievement reflects the dedication, compassion, and hard work of our entire team, who go above and beyond every day to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.

Most importantly, it is our wonderful residents, their families, and our amazing staff who make Ambleside such a special place to call home.

🌟 Let’s Talk About MS 🌟

We’re delighted to be welcoming Lyndsay Smith from the MS Society to Ambleside for an informative and engaging talk about Multiple Sclerosis (MS). 💙

MS is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. It can affect people in very different ways and symptoms can vary from person to person.

During the talk, Lyndsay will help us understand more about:

🧠 What MS is and how it affects the body
⚡ Common symptoms, including fatigue, numbness and tingling, muscle weakness, balance problems and vision difficulties
💊 Treatments and management, including disease-modifying treatments, medication and therapies that can help manage symptoms
💙 Living with MS and the support available to people and their families
❓ And, of course, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and learn more.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our residents, families, staff and community to increase their understanding of MS and the experiences of those living with the condition.
