Very true!
🌟Trust is the foundation to any relationship🌟
When you are a child, who has been lost in our failing education system, it is hard to rebuild your trust again.
Not only the trust you require in your self-worth, to believe that the fault doesn’t lie within yourself, but the trust you also need to have to believe in others.
There are so many ‘forgotten’ children, who through no fault of their own, have been so badly let down because they are unable to access an education and have disappeared into the deep dark depths of the unknown.
They have been prohibited from a chance to be socially integrated with their peers, to make memories together, and to have the opportunity to succeed.
Discarded, desolate and outcast, with very little hope - they need so much more support in order to move on, but something that is robbed from them.
Sheffield MP, Louise Haigh, has said recently the lack of provision for children with special educational needs is ‘one of the biggest scandals facing our society;’ something I know she is right about.
There are countless children who have been abandoned by the authorities and treated no better than old-fashioned outlaws, whilst the LA’s lie and scheme, to avoid facing the reality of the crisis they are in.
As parents we try to do our best to increase our children’s opportunities and try to offer them stimulation - in what can feel like we are living constantly as if we were in Groundhog Day.
It is so hard to not give up hope when, as a family, you have been cast aside.
But there are moments like this, when you may get the pleasure of meeting another ‘outlaw,’ and your faith in humanity can begin to return.
When two children, from different backgrounds, can find a connection and somehow find mutual ground, they can learn to trust one another.
There is no shame when you are both outcasts together.
You see, to perform a stunt like this takes time, practice and trust - it is the basis to any relationship and something our educational system should take note of.
Our children require this time to play and socially integrate, to learn from one another, so that they can find their confidence again.
They need to relearn how to trust once more, to build those baby steps, so that they can make future relationships.
🌟And when you have trust, the possibilities really are endless🌟
