My 7yr old dog Pippa has osteoarthritis - she was diagnosed with luxating patella’s and hip dysplasia, resulting in knee surgery at 9 months old.

We have managed her condition with with physiotherapy and hydrotherapy all her life, help to maintain her mobility and reduce the effects of OA.

Over the past year Pippa is having more symptoms of arthritis, resulting in her being more painful.

As her owner and advocate, I have been looking into her options.
🐶 Do we start long term pain medication?
🐶 Do we increase her physiotherapy treatments?
🐶 Do we reduce her adventures?
🐶 Do we do stem cell treatment?
🐶 Do we look at other holistic approaches?

There is no straight answer, there is no one treatment for all.

So what has given Pippa a good day today?

It’s a combination - no one approach has all the answers.

🐶 She is anti-inflammatory supplements
🐶 She is having regular physiotherapy and hydrotherapy
🐶 She has prescribed pain medication on bad days and after super adventures

Today is a good day and she chose to adventure. My aim as her owner and advocate is to keep her adventuring for a long as possible.

Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to know more or to find out how we can join the team to help your dogs journey with OA

Spring Movement 🌿💜

There’s something about watching dogs move freely through spaces like this — natural, effortless, and full of joy. But what you don’t see is all the work that goes into keeping movement comfortable and efficient.

That powerful stride, even weight-bearing, and fluid coordination?
That’s what we aim to protect and restore in canine physiotherapy.

Whether it’s:
✨ Managing osteoarthritis
✨ Supporting recovery post-injury or surgery
✨ Improving performance in active dogs
✨ Helping your “golden oldies” stay mobile for longer

Small changes in movement matter — and catching them early can make a huge difference.

If your dog isn’t moving quite like they used to, trust your instincts.
