It'll be time to roll out your yoga mats from tomorrow Tues 2 June in readiness to enjoy the benefits and pleasure of practising yoga as we head into June and some cooler weather. As those of you who came to the last couple of classes will know, I am semi-retiring from teaching, primarily due to a change in hours at my day job which means I won't be able to get back in time for 6.00 pm to teach. Plus I need to keep my left shoulder and new-old hips healthy :-)

I am delighted that Ruth Moore MooYoga whom many of you know, will be taking over the class, 6pm-7.15pm (doors open from 5.45pm as usual). She will let you know how it is going to work moving forward.

I am also hoping to arrange a day's event with a small group of teachers later in the year, which I will keep you posted about.

It has been such a deep joy to share the practice of yoga with you all. It's transformative, isn't it. A good friend to us, in times good and bad. I always think that you never regret stepping on to your mat, whether for 10 minutes or an hour. May yoga continue to be by your side.

Love Imogen xx

Looking forward to being back on the mat tomorrow Tuesday 14 April at Woodcote Village Hall for our next 6-week term, 14 Apr – 19 May, £9 drop-in, £48 in advance for the term (a £6 discount). Thematically we'll be looking at the five Niyamas - or personal observances - the second limb of Patanjali's eight limbs of yoga, that help us manage ourselves in the constant flux of life. Saucha - cleanliness/purity at all levels, santosha - contentment/ease, tapas - self-discipline/passion, svadhaya - self-inquiry/self-reflection, and isvara pranidhada - a sense of wholeness/connection.
This is why I love sharing yoga 🧘‍♀️🧘🧘‍♂️

Happy to share the news that Ruth from MooYoga will be taking the class on Tuesday 10 March, 6.00-7.15pm at Woodcote village hall. Ruth will be a familiar face to many of you, as she kindly covered my classes just over a year or two ago, and teaches in the hall on Wednesday evenings. We have a similar approach, as we also shared a teacher when we began our own practice and journey towards becoming teachers. Payment arrangements remain the same. Thank you Ruth for stepping in while I am away.

All good wishes, many Omms, and see you all again on Tuesday 17 March!

2026 early spring classes start tomorrow, Tue 24 Feb, 6.00-7.15pm at Woodcote Village Hall. It's a 5-week term, 24 Feb – 24 March. £9 drop-in, or £40 if you pay in advance for the whole term (a £5 discount). Looking forward to welcoming you all, whether you are an existing, returning or a new yogi. In yoga, we start every day afresh. Each time we step on to the mat, we bring our attention to the ‘right here, right now’. Do bring or wear warm layers and a blanket to help keep you cosy for relaxation. It's easier to peel off a layer if you get too hot than not have enough to keep you warm!

A reminder: there is no class tomorrow, Tuesday 17 February. Instead, I invite you to consider sitting quietly for 20 minutes, observing your breath. Thoughts, lists, worries may come to the surface. That's OK. Bring your attention back to your breath. Afterwards, give yourself a stretch and a hug 🧘‍♀️🧘🧘‍♂️

Our next term begins Tuesday 24 February, for a 5-week term, £9 drop-in, £40 in advance for the term (a £5 discount). All welcome.
