Yesterday evening we took Anne & Kay to Sandfield Farm in Shipton-by-Beningbrough. We stayed for the evening riding session, and took the opportunity for them to re-connect with Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).
Both have been volunteers of the charity respectively over the years, both have a love of horses, and have owned horses of their own. As part of our Going Beyond incentive which promotes outstanding care, both Anne & Kay were able to revisit something they both love, something they have both enjoyed being involved with at different times of their lives, and something that brought back happy memories. Anne also discovered a mutual riding friend between herself and RDA Secretary Margaret.
We finished the evening with a much needed glass of wine, and some great pub food.
Thank You to Margaret, Carol, and everyone who made us feel very welcome. 💜
