Recently, I heard about a potential new client who has been putting up with shoulder tension for some months. However, she had reservations around privacy.
Ladies, firstly, let me reassure you that respecting a client's modesty at all times is a priority for me.
It got me thinking that there may be others feeling a little anxious, too, so I'm sharing what I sent to this particular lady, hoping to put your mind at rest also.
🌻Treatments take place in my oak-framed garden room, which has curtains around all windows/doors for privacy. It is a peaceful and calm environment, and many comment on how relaxed they feel just walking in.
I always start the appointment with a chat to establish if you have any physical or emotional conditions that you would like addressed. Some clients come for relaxation and self-care purposes. As a fully qualified aromatherapist, I tailor my oil blends based on the individual’s needs at the time.
Once the client’s needs have been established and the oil blend prepared, I exit the room to allow you to undress. Depending on the type of treatment, this might just be the top half of your clothing, say for a back massage, or down to your underwear for a full body massage. I leave you to get onto the couch and cover yourself with the sheet provided before re-entering the room. During certain treatments, you may also be asked to turn over during the treatment, at which point I hold the cover in such a way as not to compromise your modesty.
When the treatment is complete, I exit the room and allow you to come too and get dressed. At no point do I re-enter the room until you have rung my bell, and then I know you are fully clothed.🌻
