We’re delighted to welcome Olivia to the SOLAS Physiotherapy & Pilates team!

Olivia graduated with an MSc in Physiotherapy at Teesside university, studying alongside our current physiotherapist, Aoife. Before qualifying as a physiotherapist, she completed a BSc in Sport Science: Injury Management, giving her a strong foundation in movement, performance and injury rehabilitation.

Alongside her physiotherapy qualifications, Olivia is trained in:
✔️ Sports Massage
✔️ Acupuncture
✔️ Exercise Rehabilitation

She also works within Sunderland and South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust, bringing valuable NHS experience and evidence-based practice to every patient she treats.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, struggling with ongoing pain, looking to improve your performance, or simply need help getting back to doing what you love, Olivia is here to help.

Meet Hannah 👋

Hannah is originally from North Yorkshire and graduated from Sunderland University with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy.

She currently works as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist within the NHS and has a particular interest in Clinical Pilates. Hannah holds her Level 3 APPI Pilates qualification alongside a Level 3 Sports Massage qualification, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her classes.

When she’s not at work, you’ll find Hannah weight training, dancing, or making the most of the great outdoors.

We are looking for a motivated Physiotherapist to join our team on a self-employed basis. There is the opportunity for regular hours which can be arranged to suit both parties. The role involves assessing and treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions while delivering excellent patient care in a private clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments and clinical diagnoses
• Develop and deliver personalised treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Provide manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation advice
• Maintain accurate and professional clinical records
• Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery, and long-term management
• Build and maintain strong patient relationships
• Work independently while contributing to a positive clinic environment

Essential Criteria
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience as a physiotherapist
• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy
• HCPC registered
• Professional indemnity insurance (CSP member)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning abilities
• Experience managing musculoskeletal conditions in a private or outpatient setting
• Confident in manual therapy techniques and exercise rehabilitation
• Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload
• Strong organisation, time management, and note-keeping skills
• A patient-centred approach with a focus on delivering high-quality care

Desirable (but not essential)
• Experience working in private practice
• Additional training in sports injury management, rehabilitation, or specialist techniques
• Interest in developing a long-term patient base
