🎒✨ Starting School Social ✨🎒

Friday 14th August 13.30pm

Is your little one starting Reception or Nursery this September? Come along to our Starting School Social, a fun filled session designed to help children build confidence, make new friends and get excited for their next big adventure!

We’ll be welcoming all September 2026 Nursery and Reception starters from schools and nursery’s across the local area for a morning packed with:

🌟 Team building games
🎨 Fun activities and challenges
🤝 Friendship making opportunities
🎵 Music, movement and interactive games
💛 Confidence building through play

Starting school is a huge milestone, and this session is all about giving children the chance to socialise with other children who are beginning the same exciting journey. Whether they’re joining the same school or heading off to different ones, they’ll enjoy practising important social skills, building independence and, most importantly, having lots of fun!

Parents can relax with a coffee from our café while watching their little ones laugh, play and grow in confidence before September arrives.

School uniform is optional but encouraged if your little one would like to practise wearing it!

Now that im a fully fledged runner I’ve discovered phrases i never thought i would use😂

Time on legs - everyone keeps telling me its all about time on legs so thats what im going with. The longer and slower i run the better i will be!

Runners high - never understood this UNTIL it started happening to me. Proper buzz of running sometimes, especially after a hilly or speed session

Its not a hill its an incline dont you know

If you tell me you run, the first thing il ask you is ‘whats your pace’ 😂

And the second question will be ‘whats your milage’

Love telling myself im ‘building the engine’ gotta build the foundations for aerobic capacity✌🏼

So a client told me we dont calling running shoes running trainers. Who knew?! Because i didnt

Fuel fuel fuel - are you fuelling correctly? Need to fuel before i go🏃🏼‍♀️

Na but in all honestly i cannot believe how much im enjoying running. Proper look forward to each one, even my 6am ones! I sometimes feel a tad jelous on my rest days when i see someone running. How sad is that🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Ive enjoyed it even more since having a personalised plan from Runna | Running Coaching App where im currently onto week 3 of their ‘run further’ plan. My conversational pace time is coming down slightly each week and im enjoying running at the pace and not race pace every run (like i was doing beforehand).

New obsession is running clothes. Please let me know your favourite running brands below👇🏼👇🏼

Currently wear ASICS Running shoes and either Nike Running or adidas top and shorts

I AM NOT OKAY🥺

Goodness this week has been emotional. Last day of Reception was today and i feel like my son is just getting bigger🥺

I bought Woody and Jessie this week after watching the new Toy Story film and it really and unexpectedly pulled at my heart strings the way Joshua was playing with them. I nearly had an emotional breakdown right there in the middle of the park😭

I cant explain what it is with these toys but i feel like they have feelings and are alive😆

I think that whole meme where you used to be Andy but now your Andy’s Mam just really hit me when he started playing with them

Anyhoooo… enough of the breakdowns. Normal service to resume😅

But M**s of 5 year olds, i feel ya!!!
