WE'VE MOVED 🤯🤯🤯

Sorry we've been quiet on socials, that's because we haven't been quiet overall.

We've had courses, events, film sets, day shifts, night shifts all sorts and a major move.

Being so busy we've taken a step back and realised that in June we spent 1 physical day in our actual office and in July nearly 3 full days.
That's alot rent to be paying out for an office we basically use for storage.
There was rent increase due in October and a few other issue we won't go into but the time felt right to move.

We're now in Sunderland which is where we spend the majority of our time and will be working from there when need be and from home.
We have a new postal address and storage rather than an office (which in hindsight is what we actually needed for some time)

We've met some amazing people as William Street and will be back to teach from time to time.

So here's to our next new adventure 🥰🥰🥰🥰

We were here, there and everywhere.

This week we're out teaching 5 days this week as well as more cycling 🤯🤣, some walking and we'll being events, some cycle races and we have 🥁 roll

A unit medic out providing cover to a production right here in Newcastle, More to follow on that when we're allowed 🤫🤫🤫

TODAY WAS A SAD BUT PROUD DAY IN THE OFFICE

After 10 years of just being there for all manner of things events, training and friendship today we say a short farewell to this absolute beauty.

She's leaving us to go to Canada on a new adventure and aswell as being totally gutted we're all so proud of her.

(A little piece of us doesn't want her to leave and hopes she'll be back 🤣🤣)

From a company point of view she's everything anyone could want from an employee but more than that she's a true and beautiful friend to have in your life and I can't wait to see her new adventure.

From all of us and fron me THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING, Your hi-viz will be hung up waiting for you anytime

What a week and weekend first big one back with loads going on.

Firstly thank you sooooo much to all the staff these last few weeks I've been teaching ALOT and you have all just smashed it without little input from me..... THANK YOU 😊 🫶

Thanks for course to our clients for having us back of course 🤣🤣🤣🤪 the all the emotions we go through together.
Putting on events of ANY size is never easy, with increasing costs and never being able to please everyone it's a very thankless task.

SO TO ALL THE EVENT ORGANISER OUT THERE

THANK YOU, You really are what makes it, without you there's no events to attend.
To those taking part please just say a little thank you to them, their often doing it off their own back and pocket for little to 0 reward other than the thanks. The hours they work are unreal and take away from family time and alot more.

A wise man once said Volunteers arnt free cause their worthless, it's because their priceless (or something like that)

Anyone who knows me knows I don't run for nothing so this is a massive effort and I mean massive. I'm already 🤢🤢🤢 after 2 days 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm running it for St Cuthbert's Hospice to help support the amazing work they do. We've covered their events for years free of charge but with huge cuts they no longer do events, so this is my way of giving to them.

Even bought some sexy new trainers that match my hoodie (accidentally) 🤣🤣🤣

To celebrate and say thanks for the support over the years on our 10th birthday we recently visited a college in West Cumbria and offered 2 day free training to 6 students who are mental health Ambassadors for students.

All engaged wholeheartedly in the course and showed wisdom, care, compassion and empathy way beyond their years and beyond that of alot of adults 🤯🤯

The feedback we've had has brought a tear to my eye genuinely I've been blown away.

Huge thanks to QNUK who allowed to offer this course to those students free of charge as there was no funding available 💔💔

A truly amazing group of young people who we've actually learnt so much off aswell, so thank you to them and congratulations on becoming mental health first aiders 🎊🎉🪅🥳

HOW DID THAT HAPPEN 🤯🤯🤯 🥳 🎉 🥳 🎉 🥳 🎉 🎊

Today GCS turns 10 years old wooooooow

I cannot believe we're here and still going strong 10 years on, (we were only going toast 6 months 😜)

We've had so many highs and some lows, we've saved lives and thought thousands more to save them and We've genuinely changed lives.

We started with one defib, a response bag and an idea 💡

We've done so much, been so many places and met amazing people along the way both clients , staff and patients 🫶🫶

We couldn't of done it without the clients many of which are now friends more than they are clients.

But my biggest thank you goes to the staff over the years 🫶🫶🫶
Many started with us with no experience or qualifications and have now gone on to be Nurses, Doctors and Paramedics, ones even gone on to be a veterinary Nurse 🤷🤷🤦‍♂️🤣🤣

TO YOU ALL THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
