What a beautiful journey of grounding, breath work, opening, creating and reconnecting with ourselves.

I appreciate every single one of you for showing up, slowing down and giving yourself this time.

As we move through this powerful Lions Gate energy, remember…

✨ Thank you to everyone who joined our women’s group today.
For sharing parts of your stories, noticing difference, and exploring our own meanings of “boring” in life after difficult relationships.
💚 A group filled with acceptance, meaning, and laughter.
✨ As always, thank you for making it such a thoughtful, safe and empowering space. I’m so grateful to get to sit with you all, see you next time.

✨️ Coffee Morning for AuDHD Women ✨️

Our next session will run in 11th August, 10.30am - 12pm.

This month we will be joined by Kerrie Highcock from North East Autism Society to chat all thigns Autism and ADHD in women. Come along to ask questions or just listen to what Kerrie has to share.

Kerrie is NEAS resident Family Development Manager. Having worked in the field for 18 years and just recently gaining her Masters of Education, in Autism, from the University of Strathclyde, and is currently working on her Doctorate. She is passionate about elevating the voices of and learning from autistic people. Kerrie is also the Autism and Neurodiversity Think Tank lead at NEAS.

Before her 12 years (so far) with NEAS, she worked in schools and nurseries with specialist autism provision. She gained her BA (hons) in Special Educational Needs and has put her vast experience to good use developing post-diagnostic models of support across the region introducing parent and toddler groups, family workshops and youth activists groups.

Kerrie will be on hand to talk about the work of the North east autism society and her experiences working with autistic people.

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund Foundation we are able to run this AuDHD women's coffee support morning. We welcome all women who are diagnosed, questioning, or awaiting assessments for Autism, ADHD or both to join us for a cuppa and a chat at Eden cafe/C3 Sunderland, based inside Hills Art Centre.
