💛✨ Appreciation Post ✨💛

As many of you know, I wasn't able to facilitate yesterday's New Moon Journey through Hypnotherapy and Sound due to my fractured foot.

I just wanted to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to Rachel of Rainbow Lotus Reiki for stepping in at the last minute and holding the sound bath so beautifully, and to Natalie for organising everything and keeping the evening flowing so smoothly, just as you always do 💛

I was so looking forward to being there and seeing all of our lovely guests, so I'm truly sorry that I couldn't make it. I hope everyone who attended had a wonderful, relaxing experience with Natalie and Rachel.

It was really difficult missing an event I was so excited about (I actually had some pretty major FOMO 😅) but knowing it was in such safe and caring hands made all the difference. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. 💖

Well... this isn't quite the summer plot twist I had planned! 😅

Unfortunately, I've had a fall and have sustained multiple fractures in my foot. I'm now sporting a cast and getting around on crutches, with strict instructions not to put any weight on it.

The doctors expect the cast to be on for around 4 weeks, although they'll know more once the specialists have reviewed my scans.

As a result, I'll need to postpone all private 1:1 sessions and group sound baths scheduled over the next few weeks. I'll be personally contacting everyone who is currently booked in to arrange rescheduling.

I'm so sorry for any inconvenience this causes and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding while I take some time to heal.

Please bear with me as I work my way through contacting everyone. 🙏

In the meantime, I'm focusing on rest, recovery, and cuddles from my little nurse Ralph, who seems to think healing purrs are the answer to everything. 🐾💛

✨️ In a world that encourages constant doing, this is an opportunity to simply rest.

My private 1:1 Sound Therapy with Energy Healing and Alignment sessions are designed to support deep relaxation through the therapeutic use of sound, vibration and stillness.

Relaxing in the most comfortable anti-gravity recliner, you'll be immersed in the sounds of crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, chimes, gongs and grounding nature percussion sounds... while also receiving intuitive energy healing and alignment.

✨️One of the most interesting aspects of sound therapy is resonance.

Resonance occurs when one vibrating object influences another to vibrate at a similar frequency. A simple example is how one tuning fork can cause another nearby tuning fork to begin vibrating without being touched.

As sound waves travel through the body, they are experienced not only through hearing, but also as gentle vibrations. Research suggests that these vibrations can help calm the body's stress response and encourage the nervous system to shift away from 'fight or flight' mode and towards a state of rest and relaxation.

Many people describe reaching a state of deep rest that can be difficult to access in everyday life... a chance to switch off from the outside world for a while and allow the body and mind an opportunity to recharge.

Stress is a little like driving a car with your foot pressed on the accelerator all day long.

Eventually the engine begins to struggle. It overheats. Parts wear down more quickly. It needs a chance to slow down and rest.

Our bodies are no different.
When we're under chronic stress, our nervous system can become stuck in "fight or flight" mode. This affects everything from our sleep, digestion, hormones and immune system, to our mood, focus and overall wellbeing.

Research shows that calming sound can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, often called the "rest and digest" state. This is the body's natural healing mode, where repair, restoration and recovery can take place.

During a sound therapy session, the soothing vibrations and frequencies from the instruments can help slow the breath, soften muscle tension, quieten the mind and encourage deep relaxation.

Perhaps the most remarkable thing is that you don't have to make anything happen.
As the mind quietens and the body softens into deep relaxation, the body's innate wisdom can take over.
