Not all laser is the same thing.
If a clinic offers 'laser' as one blanket treatment done the same way to everyone, that's worth pausing on.
At Wentworth Aesthetics, we run one dual-wavelength platform. One machine, two distinct wavelengths, three very different jobs.
Here's what that actually means:
✨ ALEXANDRITE
Absorbed by pigment. Works closer to the surface. Well-suited for treating hair, sun spots, and pigmentation on lighter skin tones.
✨ ND:YAG
Longer wavelength, deeper reach. Travels down to target the hair follicle and its blood supply directly. Better suited to a wider range of skin tones, including darker complexions.
And thread veins? Those are treated through the vascular response to the laser, collapsing the tiny vessels so the body can clear them naturally.
So why does this matter to you?
Because the right wavelength, at the right settings, for your specific skin is the whole point. It's not a one-size situation.
This is why nobody gets booked straight onto a course here. Every patient is assessed first. A patch test is carried out. Your skin, your tone, your concern, your history. Then we decide together what's right.
Three treatments. One platform. Zero guesswork.
