🌟 What a wonderful visit we had! 🌟

We were delighted to welcome our local nursery to visit our residents. 💕

The children brought so much joy and laughter as they sang some favourite nursery rhymes and performed the cutest little dances.

A huge thank you to the nursery for coming to see us — we can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! ❤️

Playing Jenga, getting creative with arts and crafts, taking on little challenges, and singing along to the music and songs of the ’60s 🎶🧩🎨
Most of all, enjoying each other’s company, sharing laughs and making lovely memories together. ❤️

Getting Creative with Arts & Crafts! ✨

It is so satisfying making something with your own hands. And we tried wet felting today.

Watching soft wool fibres transform into a beautiful, strong piece of felt using just warm water, soap, and a little patience feels almost magical.

Today, we created some lovely summer-inspired pictures. Every piece was completely unique, and the best part was that our residents knew there was no right or wrong way to do it. They could simply enjoy the process, be creative, and have fun, knowing they couldn't make mistakes.

🎭 Lots of fun with our "Who Am I?" game today! 🦁👮🤡

The game had everyone smiling 😃
From policemen and clowns to animals and many other characters, our residents had a wonderful time guessing who they were and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

One of our wonderful residents looked very convincing as a policeman!

What a fantastic day of fun and laughter here at Milverton Nursing Home! 💙

Our morning started with a lively game of Bingo, and we'd like to give a very special thank you to Caroline, our new Bingo lady, for making it such an enjoyable session. We look forward to many more games together! 🎉

We then enjoyed a wonderful Tai Chi session, with lots of residents, staff, and visitors joining in. It was fantastic to see everyone taking part, moving together, and enjoying the positive atmosphere. 🧘‍♀️

The fun continued with our whiteboard game of Hangman, where everyone put their knowledge to the test by guessing both classic and modern film titles. 🎬

A special thank you to Judith's family for joining in and making the game even more exciting and enjoyable for everyone. Your support and enthusiasm helped make the afternoon extra special.

Days like these remind us that spending time together, sharing laughter, and creating happy memories is what makes our Milverton family so special. 💙
