What a Sunday! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Sunday Carvery hosted by Scott and our new Sous Chef, Abi.

It was a full house and the energy was fabulous. Thank you all for bringing such good vibes and making it such a lovely afternoon. We’ll be announcing another date before the end of the year 🥳✨

And while we’re here, may we officially welcome Abi to the team. Abi joins us with a wealth of experience in catering and events and honestly, it feels as though she has never not been here. 👏🏽 🥳✨

🙏🏼🌟Huge thank you to the Good Champions Choir after their visit to Bishop’s Manor ! 🎶🎤
There’s nothing quite like a home filled with music but when it’s all for a good cause it makes it all the more meaningful. The choir are raising money for Acorns, and we were delighted to make a donation to support the cause.

Our planned zoo trip may have turned into Plan B, but what a lovely Plan B it was! Delicious pub food, plenty of tea and coffee, and lots of laughter. The residents had the best time. 💛

🎭🌈 Bishops Manor Mardi Gras! 🌈🎭

The weather may not have held out for us, but it didn’t stop the celebrations, we brought our own sunshine! Our BBQ went ahead regardless, with plenty of colour, music and Mardi Gras spirit ✨🚀

🌟 🏆Huge shout out to our GEM winner, the wonderful Zoe! 🏆🌟

Our lovely lady of many hats, Zoe, is part of our reception team but is always willing to lend a hand supporting various different roles throughout the home with her calm nature and the biggest smile 😀

Her willingness to go above and beyond has earned her so many lovely compliments from team members and families alike, making her a very deserving GEM winner!

And before anyone thinks Zoe has already enjoyed half the bottle,it’s just the label reflecting on the chocolate… well at least we think so! 😂🍾

Sunshine, flowers and of course cake what better way to enjoy these glorious sunny days🌸☀️🍰

Our gardens are blooming beautifully, thanks to the daily care of Mary and the team.
Yesterday, brought a slice of friendly competition with the Bishop’s Manor Bake Off!🧑‍🍳🎂

Cakes were baked, and our first, second and third places were crowned 🥇

We’re making the most of every moment. 💐☀️🏡

🇮🇹 Taste of Italy at Bishops Manor 🇮🇹

Today we escaped to Italy and without even leaving the building. 😅🇮🇹

This morning our residents made their own pizzas, choosing their favourite toppings while enjoying an Aperol Spritz… although, they proved more popular with some than others! 🍹 😅😂

Throughout the day we enjoyed homemade lasagne, Italian sharing dishes, tiramisu, pastries, cocktails, mocktails and Italian classics (music) and some Frank Sinatra and the Rat pack for good measure 🥳 🎶

Thank you to every department that played a part today, it was a joint effort to bring a little piece of Italy to Bishops Manor. ❤️🇮🇹
