Today, we’re delighted to introduce Marie, our wonderful Home Manager here at Sutton Rose! 💗

With a wealth of experience in the care sector, Marie brings exceptional knowledge, dedication and compassion to her role. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care, while creating a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for residents, families and colleagues alike. 🏡

Marie’s passion for care truly shines through in everything she does, and her commitment to making a positive difference is at the heart of our Sutton Rose family. 🌷

Outside of work, Marie is a proud mum to four daughters and has two lovely cats! 🐾 She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, as well as making wonderful memories on holidays. ☀️✈️

On Saturday, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a very special birthday celebration for our wonderful resident Alison, who recently reached the incredible milestone of 101 years young! 🥳💕

Alison enjoyed a lovely birthday party surrounded by her family, making precious memories and celebrating an amazing 101 years of life, love, laughter and happiness. ❤️🥰

Reaching 101 years is truly something extraordinary, and we feel so lucky to have Alison as part of our home. It was an honour to help make this wonderful milestone such a special and memorable celebration. 🌸✨

🎀💕 Sutton Rose Friendship Bracelets – Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness! 💕🎀

Today at Sutton Rose, our wonderful residents have been getting creative with a very special activity, making beautiful friendship bracelets in support of Breast Cancer Awareness! 🎀💗🌸

Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon choosing their beads, creating their own designs and putting lots of love and care into every bracelet. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and wonderful conversations as everyone worked together for such a meaningful cause. 💕✨

Each bracelet represents love, friendship, strength, hope and togetherness, reminding us how important it is to support one another and raise awareness of breast cancer. 🎀💖

These lovely handmade bracelets have been specially created for our Quiz Night this Thursday, where we will be coming together to show our support and spread a little extra love! 🧠🎉💗

We are so proud of our residents for taking part and putting their hearts into something so special. It’s not just about making bracelets; it’s about making memories, showing kindness and coming together as one big Sutton Rose family! 🥰🌷

Join us for a fun-filled Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser at Sutton Rose this October! 💗

📅 Thursday 15th October
⏰ 5:30pm–7:30pm
📍 Sutton Rose, St Michael’s Rd, Sutton Coldfield
💷 £10 per team

Enjoy a friendly general knowledge quiz, plus music rounds featuring hits from the 1960s and 1970s. There’ll also be a cake sale, complimentary buffet and drinks, and prizes to win! 🎶🧁🏆

💗 Please wear pink if you can to show your support.

We’ll also have a special memorial tree, where guests can leave messages in memory or in honour of loved ones.

Come along, have some fun and help us raise money for breast cancer causes. 🎀

What a lovely way to start the month 💗 Our amazing staff organised a special party in honour of some of our wonderful team members who have faced breast cancer.

Everyone got involved by wearing pink, dressing up and coming together to show their love, support and appreciation. 💕🎀

🌸 A lovely morning at our Dementia Café 🌸

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Stone Rose Care Home on Friday for our Dementia Café. We had such a lovely time together, and this month we enjoyed some beautiful flower arranging. 💐

Our Dementia Café takes place on the first Friday of every month at 11:30am and is completely free to attend.

We’d love to welcome you along next month for another friendly morning of activities, conversation and company. 💜

We are incredibly proud to have presented Dementia UK with a cheque for £650, raised through the fantastic fundraising efforts of everyone here at Sutton Rose Care Home. 🥰

A huge thank you to our wonderful residents, relatives, team members and everyone who supported our fundraising. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helped us reach this brilliant total.

Dementia UK provides vital support to families affected by dementia, a cause that is especially close to our hearts here at Sutton Rose. 💙

We’re so grateful to everyone who got involved and helped us raise £650 for such a worthwhile cause.

Lots of Fun at Sutton Rose! 🌹✨

We’ve been having a wonderful time at Sutton Rose! We enjoyed a lovely stroll around Sutton Coldfield, taking in the sights and visiting some of the beautiful local churches. ⛪💐

Back at Sutton Rose, the fun continued with a brilliant ABBA Bingo session, plenty of laughter, music and so much more! 🎶🕺💃

There’s always something to enjoy, and it’s been lovely making more happy memories together. ❤️
