Fully trained carers provide support with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, moving and handling, and housekeeping help. Regulated by the Care Quality Commission, we also offer full time live in care and condition led support for individuals who are living with dementia, MS, cancer, or have experienced a stroke. Communication is about more than just words. For someone living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, finding the right words can sometimes be difficult. Small changes in how we communicate can make a big difference.
✨ Speak slowly and use short sentences
✨ Give them time to respond
✨ Maintain eye contact and use their name
✨ Stay calm and patient
✨ Avoid correcting or arguing
✨ Use gestures and visual cues when helpful
✨ Focus on feelings, not just facts
Most importantly, every conversation is an opportunity to help someone feel heard, respected and understood. 💜
