Today, we had the honour of caring for a much-loved person as family and friends gathered to say their final goodbyes. ❀️

Following a heartfelt church service, we accompanied them on their final journey to Sutton Coldfield Crematorium for the committal.

Every life is special, and every farewell deserves to be filled with dignity, kindness and compassion.

It is always a privilege to be entrusted with the care of someone’s loved one, and our thoughts remain with the family and all those who knew and loved them. πŸ•ŠοΈ

Today, we had the honour of accompanying a much-loved lady on her final journey, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Her farewell began with a heartfelt church service, where those closest to her gathered to remember her life, share precious memories and say their final goodbyes.

A beautiful white horse-drawn hearse supplied by , accompanied by three black Jaguar limousines, carried her on her final journey to Marston Green Burial Ground, where she was laid to rest.

A touching dove release marked a peaceful and emotional farewell, as the doves took to the sky in her memory. πŸ•ŠοΈ

Behind every funeral is a life that has been loved, memories that will always be treasured, and a family learning to live with the loss of someone so special.

Our thoughts are with her family and everyone who knew and loved her. May she rest peacefully, forever remembered and forever loved. 🀍

πŸ•―οΈ Baby Loss Awareness Week – Wave of Light πŸ©·πŸ’™

Tonight, at Lilies Funeral Directors, we light our candle as part of the global Wave of Light, remembering all the precious little lives that were taken far too soon.

Each tiny life, no matter how brief, leaves a love that lasts forever. πŸ’•

Our candle shines in memory of the little ones we have lost, for the families whose arms are empty but whose hearts will always be full of love, and for every parent who carries their baby in their heart.

To all those affected by baby loss, we are thinking of you tonight and always.

Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten. πŸ•―οΈβœ¨

Today, we had the honour of conducting the funeral service for a truly wonderful gentleman, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

For our owner, Lee, this was a particularly poignant occasion. Earlier this year, Lee had cared for this gentleman’s beloved mother, and to be reunited with the same family under such heartbreaking circumstances, so soon afterwards, was incredibly difficult.

Whilst we wish it had been under happier circumstances, Lee felt deeply honoured that the family once again placed their trust in him and everyone at Lilies to care for someone so precious to them. ❀️

As the beautiful autumnal sun shone down, we led an amazing man on his final journey, with the dignity, respect and love he so rightly deserved.

To his wonderful family, thank you for allowing us to be part of such a personal moment in your lives. Our thoughts remain with you all. πŸ•ŠοΈ

πŸ’” Our Thoughts Are With the Family and Loved Ones of the Gentleman Who Tragically Lost His Life in Sutton Coldfield.

Our community has been left heartbroken following the tragic events outside the Beggars Bush pub in the early hours of Sunday morning, directly opposite our Lilies Funeral Directors funeral home in Sutton Coldfield.

This morning, our Funeral Director Donna visited the scene to lay flowers and pay our respects to the young gentleman who so tragically lost his life.

As funeral directors, we witness the devastating impact of losing a loved one every day. But when tragedy strikes so suddenly, and so close to home, it is a particularly painful reminder of just how precious life is.

Our hearts go out to his family, friends and everyone affected by this heartbreaking loss. No family should ever have to experience such unimaginable sadness.

At Lilies, we are proud to be part of the Sutton Coldfield community, and today we stand alongside our neighbours in grief, compassion and remembrance.

Rest in peace. πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ€

From everyone at Lilies Funeral Directors, our deepest condolences.

πŸ’š World Mental Health Day – You Are Not Alone πŸ’š

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we want to take a moment to recognise the importance of looking after our mental health, especially during times of grief and bereavement.

Losing someone we love can be one of the most difficult experiences we ever face. Grief can bring overwhelming sadness, loneliness, anxiety and emotions that are sometimes difficult to put into words.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and there is no timeline for healing. ❀️

At Lilies Funeral Directors, we see first-hand the profound impact that losing a loved one can have on individuals and families. We also see the incredible strength it takes to face each day following a loss.

We want to remind anyone struggling with bereavement that it’s okay not to be okay. It’s okay to ask for help, to talk about the person you miss, to cry, to smile at a cherished memory, or simply to take each day as it comes.

Please remember to check in on those around you, particularly those who may be grieving. Sometimes, a simple conversation, a listening ear or a small act of kindness can make all the difference.

For the past 10 years, it has been our privilege to support families across Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham and the surrounding communities, not just in saying goodbye, but in treating every family with the compassion, dignity and understanding they deserve.

To everyone missing someone today, and every day, our thoughts are with you. πŸ•ŠοΈ

With love and compassion,

The Lilies Funeral Directors Team πŸ’š

This weekend, Lilies Funeral Directors had the honour of conducting a heartfelt funeral service at Our Lady of the Angels Church in Nuneaton, as a wonderful family came together to say their final goodbyes to someone so dearly loved. πŸ•ŠοΈ

The sun was shining beautifully, providing a warm and peaceful setting for such a special farewell. β˜€οΈ

It was a privilege to support this lovely family and ensure their loved one was treated with the utmost dignity, care and respect throughout.

At Lilies Funeral Directors, we understand that every farewell is personal, and we are proud to be there for families whenever and wherever they need us, including weekends.
