Following on from Sheila’s amazing show, which explored the topic of identity at the Lichfield Garrick, she has announced the date of her next genogram workshop.

It will build on the discussion between false identity and the authentic self, which Sheila explored at her near sell-out show on Saturday night.

But if you’re wondering what is a genogram? Here’s the answer…
A genogram is a detailed, visual extension of the traditional family tree and it maps out relationships, emotional dynamics, themes and behavioural patterns across multiple generations.

A testimonial from an attendee at a previous workshop held at Sheila’s home in Mileoak said: “It is revealing, emotional, thought provoking and fascinating in equal measure.
“I would highly recommend giving yourself the time to explore your family in this unique way.
“Sheila knows her stuff and you will come away a wee bit wiser about both yourself and the family around you.”

This three-hour workshop, which is limited to three people, at Sheila’s home, costs £150 and will be held on Saturday, November 7, from 1pm until 4pm (ish).

What an honour it was to perform my 11th mental health show last night on world mental health day at Lichfield Garrick theatre about Identity. What an audience! When I feel the love in the room my spontaneous comedy head just flies and has a great time! Thank you for that. Last nights show was probably the most honest and raw I have ever been. I truly believe my now Angel Pat caused my mic to temporary stop which only added to the humour and comic timing. I love that we had a packed theatre normalising mental health, lifting up that carpet and talking about what factors lead people to become mentally ill. As I highlighted last night, oftentimes it's the environment that's ill, that then causes the person to become ill and often blame themselves.

It’s this Saturday folks!!!

On October 10th Sheila will be performing a “transformative” one-night-only show at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre.
But the question is: Have you got your ticket yet?

Ahead of Saturday night’s show, which also falls on World Mental Health Day, Sheila said: “Sometimes its not what they say, but what they dont say, that hurts the most.
“And, whether that is intentional or not, it can be a form of neglect.
"But we can use this acknowledgement to break free from something that may have been a contributory factor to creating a false identity of and for ourselves.
“So the question then becomes who am I really outside of that old narrative? And who do I want to be going forward?
"This is something I’ll delve into more into at my show, but the audience can certainly expect it to be transformative.”

Did you know that intergenerational trauma increases lifetime susceptibility to depression?

This is one of several factors that Sheila will explore at her upcoming mental health show at the Lichfield Garrick, entitled Identity, in just over a fortnight.

There are many examples of how generational behaviour shapes our identities today and many of this can be passed through historic trauma.

It was during Sheila's chat on Lichfield Radio last week with Sally Wagstaff, ahead of her upcoming show entitled Identity at the Lichfield Garrick, that the pair discussed the idea that w**ds are just flowers growing in the wrong place.
