☀️ Hot weather update ☀️

With the severe heat warning in place, we understand that some patients may not feel comfortable attending their appointment.

If you have an appointment and feel you are unable to attend because of the heat, please give us a call and let us know. We can rearrange your appointment and offer the slot to another patient.

🌡️ It’s warm in the practice too!

Some of our consulting rooms can get very warm in this weather. Our team will do their best to keep rooms as comfortable and cool as possible for you. Please bear with us – we’re feeling the heat too! ☀️

Please take care in the hot weather:
💧 Drink plenty of water
☀️ Try to stay out of the sun during the hottest part of the day
🏠 Keep your home as cool as you can – close curtains or blinds where the sun is coming in
👕 Wear light, loose clothing
🧴 Use sunscreen and wear a hat if you're heading outside
👵 Please check in on elderly or vulnerable family, friends and neighbours

Protect yourself this winter – book your flu vaccination today!

Our Adult Flu Vaccination Clinics are now available to book, and we warmly invite all eligible patients to attend.

Our upcoming clinic will take place on Saturday 3rd October.

You may be eligible for a free NHS flu vaccine if you are:

- Aged 65 years and over
- Aged 18 to under 65 and in a clinical risk group
- Living in a long-stay residential care home
- A carer in receipt of carer’s allowance, or the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
- Close contact of someone who is immunocompromised

Calling all little explorers! 🐯🐘🦒
We’re making flu vaccinations a little more fun this year with our Safari Saturday at King’s Medical Centre!

📅 Saturday 19 September 2026

If your child is eligible for their NHS nasal flu vaccination, join us for games, activities and lots of safari fun while they have their vaccination.
