July was full of tiny milestones, precious first cuddles, and lots of reasons to smile. Congratulations to all the families who welcomed a new addition during the month. 👶💛

One number we're especially pleased to see is our home birth figure. As our Home Birth Team gets back up and running, it's lovely to see that big fat 0 become a 1. Here's to supporting even more families to welcome their babies at home in the months ahead! 🏡✨

While this month brought no babies born sleeping, we continue to hold close in our hearts every family who has experienced the loss of a baby. Your little ones are always remembered. 🤍

💜 Have your maternity appointments disappeared from your NHS App? 💜
Don't worry – your appointments are still booked.
We have recently made some changes to how we communicate appointment information. As a result, maternity appointment details will now only be available through the Badger Notes app.
✅ If your appointments are showing in Badger Notes, they are still booked and you do not need to take any action.

We want to reassure families that our Maternity & Neonatal services remain safe and open as usual for the foreseeable future.

St Helier Maternity & Neonatal services are reviewing planned estates works for 2027.

If you are booked for care, your care will not be interrupted.

As we celebrate our June arrivals, we're also keeping families in mind as we enjoy the summer, cheer on our favourite teams during the FIFA World Cup, and make the most of the warmer weather.

Major football tournaments can sadly see an increase in domestic abuse. Please take a moment to watch our awareness video and help us spread this important message.

🌡️ With the hot weather here, remember to keep babies cool, out of direct sunlight, and follow safer sleep guidance.
