Wishes really do come true at Belmont House ✨

Off we went to the Mudlark Exhibition, where we enjoyed exploring the beautiful artwork and taking in the wonderful atmosphere.

It was a pleasure to support our resident in enjoying an activity of their choice and to see them having such a lovely day out. Moments like these highlight the importance of meaningful experiences and resident wellbeing.

Join us at Belmont House for our Macmillan Coffee morning on the 25th September 11.00

We’re brewing up a morning full of coffee, cake, and community spirit all in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Pop in, grab a slice of something sweet, and enjoy a cuppa while helping raise vital funds for people living with cancer.

There’ll be plenty of homemade bakes, tasty treats, and even a tombola. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference

What a fantastic afternoon we had at our Taste of Home event at Belmont House! 🎉

A huge thank you to our amazing Kitchen Team for preparing a wonderful selection of delicious dishes from around the world, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy and celebrate different cultures. Our residents, families, and guests thoroughly enjoyed sampling the fantastic food on offer.

Also thank you to the entire Belmont team for their hard work and support in making the event such a great success. Staff were encouraged to wear something that represented their home, adding a wonderful personal touch and creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

We were delighted to be entertained by the talented Mangotree Kids whose fantastic music brought everyone together, creating a joyful atmosphere and encouraging plenty of singing, dancing, and smiles.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this such a memorable celebration of culture, community, and togetherness. ❤️🌍🎶

An afternoon at Mayfield Lavender was just what we needed. 💜 Here at Belmont House, we love a trip out, so off we went!

We spent the afternoon soaking in the beautiful scenery before finishing our visit with a relaxing cup of tea and something refreshing to drink. What a lovely afternoon 🌿☀️

Today at Belmont House, wishes really did come true. 💙

As part of Care UK's Wish Tree initiative, one of our residents had a simple but heartfelt wish to have a cat sit on his bed. Of course, we were delighted to make it happen!

A huge thank you to Tennyson Grange for kindly lending us the wonderful George, who brought so much comfort and joy. Our resident spent time reminiscing about the cats he had throughout his life, sharing fond memories and stories with us all. It was a truly heartwarming moment and a wonderful reminder of the power of meaningful wishes and cherished memories. 🐱✨

This morning our residents enjoyed a fun cupcake decorating session, getting creative with colourful icing and sprinkles. The best part, of course, was enjoying their delicious creations afterwards!

We're delighted to share that we now have a small shop in our reception area where residents can purchase a selection of greeting cards, toiletries and snacks.

Our new shop offers added convenience, making it easy for residents to pick up little treats or everyday items.
