Can you tell which side had lymphatic drainage first? 🤔
Well if you said left, you would be correct.
So with my client Agi today and she struggles with lymphoedema in her legs. We worked on the left side first and afterwards she could definitely tell there was movement due to feeling lighter but also warmer. The second picture shows that both legs are done and even though the right wasnt as congested they both now look a lot more similar.
Tips for people struggling with lymphoedema but also lipidedema
⭐️consistency is key, this is a chronic condition so anything you do needs to be in a good routine
⭐️ movement. Your body thrives on it, as its for a lot of people but movement helps blood flow, which in turn helps lymphatic flow
⭐️ doing Tai Chi lymphatic movements - seen those 10min videos? Well it does work. Breath and movement helps your body encourage itself into a good nervous state which will help all the way down to your cells to get functioning in a more positive way
⭐️walking, light weights, resistance and swimming are all good exercise routines as well. As this condition affects women mainly these are great tools in the box to help with weight loss, lymphatic movements and also within your cycles.
⭐️Dry brushing is great for moving stagnant fluid. As lymph doesnt need a heavy touch, something simple as this can help with moving it to the nodes to help drain it so it can absorb into the system.
Have a great weekend everyone, and thanks if you got to the end!
