Please give a warm 'Measham' welcome to Isobel, the newest member of our dental nursing team.

Isobel joins us as a Apprentice Dental Nurse who has some previous experience of dental nursing, and healthcare and dentistry have been an interest of hers for a long time. So it's fair to say she's exactly where she wants to be.

In her own words: "It's a job I thoroughly enjoy and hope to make my long-term career, and have a positive impact on people's experiences within dentistry."

That's precisely the kind of nurse we like to have looking after you. Someone who genuinely cares about our patients, whether your visit goes well, and not just whether the instruments are in the right order!

Outside the practice, you'll usually find Isobel spending time with family and friends.

We're open as normal all month, through the school holidays. If you're heading away and something goes wrong with a tooth while you're gone, ring us anyway . We can often sort out advice, helpful practical suggestions or an appointment for the day you get back.

And if the summer has quietly eaten the check-up you meant to book in July and August, we do have appointments. We will make sure we can fit you in.

Chipped tooth? Small gap? Teeth that have worn down over the years?

Composite bonding is usually the gentlest way to fix it. Our great dentist Sara, explains why in this video: the composite is shaped onto your own tooth by hand, so in most cases there's no drilling and no injection, and the tooth underneath is left intact. That's why we'll often suggest it ahead of crowns or veneers.
