🌞🌿 A little taste of the Mediterranean at Holmwood House! 🇬🇷☀️

We’re absolutely loving our newly decorated courtyard!

We’ve given the space a fresh Mediterranean-inspired feel, creating a bright, welcoming area for our residents to enjoy throughout the warmer months.

The floor has even been painted with large outdoor games in mind, meaning we can now enjoy giant games of chess, draughts and more right in the courtyard! ♟️🎲

And with our lovely new sun shade overhead, it’s the perfect spot to sit back, relax, enjoy a chat, watch the games or simply soak up the summer atmosphere without getting too much of the heat.

It’s amazing what a little colour, creativity and imagination can do to transform a space! ❤️

🌷 Flower Arranging Fun at Holmwood House 🌷

This week, we were delighted to welcome Tinks Tulips to Holmwood House for a wonderful flower arranging session. 💐✨

Our residents loved getting creative, choosing their favourite flowers and putting together their own beautiful arrangements. There was plenty of colour, conversation and smiles along the way! 🌸🌼

A lovely activity that brought a little bit of the garden indoors. 💕🌿

❤️ The Most Important People in Our Lives ❤️

This week, we asked our residents a simple but meaningful question…

“Who is the most important person in your life?” 🥰

The answers brought back wonderful memories and stories of husbands, wives, children, grandchildren, parents and lifelong friends. ❤️

It was a lovely reminder that, no matter our age, it’s the people we love and the memories we share that mean the most.

A beautiful activity filled with smiles, reflection and plenty of love. 💕✨

Another fantastic session with Vision Rise Fitness! 💪✨

Always bringing plenty of smiles, laughter and a little bit of silliness, these sessions are a firm favourite with our residents at Holmwood House. 😊

Exercise doesn’t have to feel like hard work when you’re having fun, and staying active is a great way to support both physical and mental wellbeing.

Last week, Holmwood House was delighted to welcome back the wonderful miniature ponies, bringing smiles, laughter and plenty of special moments for our residents. 🐴❤️

Animal therapy offers so many benefits, from encouraging social interaction and sparking treasured memories to promoting relaxation and wellbeing.

It was lovely to see our residents enjoying cuddles, conversation and spending time with our four-legged visitors. We can't wait to welcome them back again soon! ✨
