If you are over 75 or have certain conditions, you are eligible for both the flu and Covid, these can be given together and you will be booked into our Covid clinics that are being held at Manor Farm Surgery. Please call the Plowright Team to book, do not call Manor Farm.

If you are not eligible for Covid, or would like just the Flu jab.
We are now booking our Saturday flu clinics.

Norfolk Public Health commissions Allen Carr’s Easyway (ACE), an evidence-based approach to quitting smoking that is approved by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).

Allen Carr Easyway is organising a seminar in Norwich on Saturday 26 September.

It is free to attend for Norfolk residents aged 18 and over who are registered with a GP practice in Norfolk.

From today, NHS England is rolling out HPV self-testing kits for women who have fallen behind on their cervical screening.

The free kits can be used at home, making it easier for more women to complete potentially lifesaving checks to help prevent cervical cancer.

Eligible women will start receiving invitations today, so check your phone, your email or your post to see if you qualify.

If you're invited, you'll be able to order a free kit through the NHS App or your NHS online account, and get back on track with protecting yourself against cervical cancer.

Target Ovarian Cancer has set up a free peer support group for women with a diagnosis of ovarian cancer in King’s Lynn.

This group meets monthly in a local venue and provides a safe space to talk openly with other women with a diagnosis.

These peer support groups are:

Regular face-to-face get-togethers in local venues.
A safe space to talk openly within a social group of peers.
For small groups of 8-10 women.
Of no cost to the group members.
Run every month by a volunteer from within the group.

Dates: Every fourth Monday of the month
Time: 1.30pm-3pm
Anyone with a diagnosis of ovarian cancer in the local area is welcome to attend

Peer support groups are safe, welcoming spaces for those with ovarian cancer to connect, share, and feel supported. Led by trained volunteers with lived experience, there's no pressure, just understanding.
