A huge thank you to Craigfelin Primary School for having me in to deliver Sensory Strategies training on their INSET day! 🙌

It was such a pleasure to work with such a welcoming group of staff, especially on the first day back! It was a wonderful way to kick off the new school year with a sensory lens, making sure we're meeting the sensory needs of our children so they can thrive.

I'll admit, it was a bit of a shock to the system getting my brain back into gear after the summer break (lol), but a brilliant one to ease back in with. Unfortunately, I got so into the flow of a demo that I forgot about an existing calf injury and ended up making it worse — resulting in a bit of a limp! 😅 So you might spot me limping about over the next week or so — hopefully back to full speed soon!

Thanks again to everyone at Craigfelin for having me. And to everyone heading back to school today — wishing you all the very best. It's a big day for so many! 💙

✨ Well, that's a wrap! ✨

The last day of term is here, and I'm officially clocking off for the summer! ☀️

I'll be a little quieter on here over the next six weeks while I take some time to recharge, ready for another exciting school year.

A huge thank you to all the teachers, parent carers, and professionals who have followed, supported, and connected with Sensory Wellbeing OT this term.

It has been such a pleasure to meet so many wonderful people, and I'm so grateful to be part of your journey.

Wishing you all a restful, joyful, and well-deserved summer. 🌻

💛 What an absolute joy it has been to work with Ysgol Calon Lan lower school over the last two weeks!

It has been a real privilege to meet and work alongside so many wonderful pupils and dedicated staff, all committed to creating a more sensory-inclusive school environment.

Seeing the passion, care, and enthusiasm for supporting every child's wellbeing has been truly inspiring.

Thank you for making me feel so welcome. Wishing everyone a well-deserved, restful, and happy summer—I look forward to seeing what the new school year brings!

A big thank you to Swansea Council ALN team for funding another Emotional Regulation from a Sensory Perspective course for Swansea teaching staff! 🙏

This was the last session of the term, but I've got lots of dates booked in for next term on my Sensory Processing Course — so if you haven't attended yet, get yourself booked on!

Another fantastic group of teaching staff from all over Swansea — such a fun, engaged bunch, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you all. 💛

Happy Friday All! 😎

🌟 Spent Monday and Tuesday training brilliant foster parents and carers in sensory processing and child development — some joining me in person, others online from across England.

It made my day driving in to be welcomed by their mascot, Llew the lion! 🦁🤣

Every time I work with TLC, I'm moved by these generous, gorgeous people changing the lives of the children in their care. I have such admiration and respect for what they do, and it's a privilege to support them with this training.

Lovely to meet foster carers from FSG too. 💛

A huge thank you to Faith In Families for having me in to deliver a Sensory Processing training day for parents and carers! 🌟

It was such a brilliant day and so lovely to meet you all. The team went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable — refreshments throughout the day, a delicious lunch, and the staff even gave up their own fans to keep the training room cool! 🙌❤️

That kind of warmth and thoughtfulness really does make all the difference, and it was a joy to be in such a welcoming space.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of delivering my Sensory Processing in Early Years course at The Guildhall! 🌟

It was a fantastic day exploring:
✨ Child development
🧠 Sensory processing as the foundation of learning & development
🙌 Strategies to support sensory differences

The day was fun, interactive and engaging — despite the *very* warm room! 😅 We did our best with the blinds pulled tight to keep the sun out, but the heat was certainly part of the experience!

A huge thank you to the Early Years Programme Team for making this happen — and to everyone who attended and made it such a wonderful day. Happy Friday, all! 🎉
