HBOT EXPLAINED
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a simple, comfortable and non-invasive treatment that helps support your body’s natural healing functions and defences.
HBOT involves breathing almost 100% pure oxygen while pressurising the body. The process is achieved inside our specialised chamber where you will comfortably breathe up to 100% pure oxygen while the pressure inside the chamber is gradually increased.
Under these conditions, your lungs can gather much more oxygen than would be possible by breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. When your blood carries this extra oxygen throughout your body, this helps fight bacteria and stimulates the release of substances called growth factors and stem cells, which promote healing.
