Walking into another busy week…
One dinky step at a time, with the whole crew in tow!

Just got sent this pic from one of our visits last week. How stinking cute! 🄰

For all you Poppy singing fans out there, this one’s for you šŸŽ¶

It took her a while to find her voice… but once she did, she made sure absolutely everyone knew about it!

As some of you know, Gracie had an episode of colic this week, and as every horse owner will agree, it’s one of our worst fears.

I’ve also put together a little post explaining colic, the signs i noticed, and what i did, to help answer some of the questions I’ve been asked.

Colic can strike without warning, and it’s often difficult to know exactly what caused it. Thankfully, Gracie responded well to treatment, and we’re so grateful to our vet for their quick care and support.

She’s recovering well now, and we’re taking it one day at a time.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in and sent kind wishes. It truly means the world to me x

I’m incredibly lucky to have an amazing team of volunteers who help me so much with the D***s. Gone are the days when I had to manage everything on my own!

I’m now supported by a wonderful group of ladies who take turns helping on the yard each day with stable duties, yard work, and all things pony-related.

It’s certainly not for the faint-hearted! Working outdoors with animals through a UK winter (and summer apparently, with the recent heatwave!) takes real dedication, resilience, and a good sense of humour.

We’re currently looking for a couple of additional volunteers to join our team on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturdays and Sunday mornings. Duties include mucking out, caring for the D***s, poo picking, and general yard work.

If you have horse experience, enjoy being outdoors, live locally, have some spare time, and would like to get involved with a great cause while helping to care for our Dinky Ponies, please get in touch.

I’d love to hear from you ā¤ļø

It’s been another busy week, full of love, laughter, and smiles all around.

My job can be challenging. It’s tiring, exhausting, and sometimes stressful, and there are moments when I find myself wondering why I do what I do.

Then weeks like this come along.

Seeing so many children of all ages and backgrounds meet the Dinky Ponies, and watching them receive so much love, affection, and joy, is a wonderful reminder of exactly why I do it.

Thank you to everyone who supports me in this endeavour to make the world a little brighter and a little better, one smile at a time x
