🎺🎶 Our residents and their families enjoyed a beautiful evening listening to the Brass Band. 🎶🎺

Everyone had a wonderful time relaxing together and enjoying the fantastic music. The evening was filled with smiles, singing along, and great company, creating special memories for residents, families, and staff alike.

🎨📚 What a lovely afternoon we had making bookmarks together! 📚🎨

We all enjoyed getting creative with arts and crafts, designing beautiful bookmarks to share with everyone. As we crafted, we also enjoyed a sing-along to some favourite songs, filling the room with smiles, laughter, and plenty of fun.
A wonderful afternoon of creativity, music, and friendship! 💛✨

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Aakansha, who is making a positive impact on our community!

Recently, Aakansha went above and beyond to support a resident and their family during end-of-life care. Through her compassion, dedication, and gentle support, she built a lovely relationship with them, bringing immense comfort, dignity, and warmth to a deeply challenging time.

Seeing the positive impact Aakansha is already having on our residents and their families is truly inspiring. She embodies everything we stand for, and we are so grateful to have her on our team.

Swindon Brass is performing at the Princess Lodge garden on Thursday, 9th July, starting at 6pm. It promises to be a great evening of live performance 🎶☀️

All are welcome to attend, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the band and the warm weather.

Our residents had a fantastic time celebrating National Biscuit Day on 29th May with our very own Great British Bake Off–themed activity making Jam thumbprint biscuits! 🍪

Each table played an important role in the baking process, from measuring it, to mixing it, to rolling it, with everyone getting involved every step of the way.

Once the dough was ready, we all came together to add our own personal touch by decorating the biscuits with strawberry jam centres and classic thumbprints.

The delicious smell filled the room once baked, and of course, the best part was enjoying our homemade jam thumbprint biscuits together.

A fun, interactive afternoon full of teamwork, laughter, and tasty treats!

We were delighted to welcome a very special visitor to the home – Ziggy the Chiweenie!
One of our team members kindly brought in her wonderful dog to spend some quality time with our residents.
Ziggy’s visit brought so much joy to everyone, with plenty of cuddles, smiles, and calming sensory interaction. It was truly heartwarming to see the positive impact, as residents relaxed, reminisced, and shared such a special experience together.
Animal therapy provides comfort, companionship, and stimulation, and Ziggy certainly delivered all three. The happiness on our residents’ faces said it all!
We’re already looking forward to Ziggy’s next visit. 🐾

Our residents had a wonderful afternoon out visiting the REME Museum in Lyneham, enjoying a fascinating journey through history and engineering. The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for everyone to explore the impressive collection of military vehicles, interactive exhibits, and engaging displays, sparking memories and plenty of conversations along the way. It was lovely to see our residents so involved and inspired. A big thank you to the staff and volunteers who made the day run smoothly, it was a memorable trip for all!
