It’s a real privilege to be part of your support team behind the scenes and to play a small part in helping these brilliant dogs perform at their best💪🏼

Wishing you all the best in the ring this week. I’ll be cheering you on!🥰

Week 2 of Wicked’s Rehab Diaries 🐾

Consistency over complexity! We’ve stuck with a small, simple set of exercises this week — because doing a few things well is far more effective than doing too many 🙌🏼

We’ve progressed things by gradually increasing reps and adding a bit more difficulty where she’s ready for it 🐶

She’s also now running off lead with the others, wearing wrist wraps to support the ligament and help with proprioception — especially important as she can be a little unpredictable (and rather enthusiastic 😂).

Next week we’ll start to introduce a few more exercises and begin working our way back towards agility-based work💪🏼

Slow, steady, and happy progress!🩵

Signs your dog might benefit from physiotherapy

🐾 Slower to get up or lie down
🐾 Reluctant to jump or climb stairs
🐾 Changes in performance
🐾 Seeming stiff after walks or training

Not all signs of discomfort are obvious, these signs are often subtle, and easy to miss. Early and regular physio can prevent small issues from becoming bigger injuries.

✨ Wickeds Rehab Diaries — Week 1 ✨

Great progress from Wicked in week 1 following her mild wrist sprain. She is now pain free, swelling has fully resolved, and she has regained full range of motion!

She is comfortably weightbearing and has returned to controlled on-lead walks. We’re now reintroducing her rehabilitation exercises to rebuild strength and stability in a gradual, structured way💪🏼

Really pleased with how she is responding so far and I’ll continue to progress her safely over the coming weeks.

If your dog has had a soft tissue injury, targeted rehab can make a big difference to recovery. Get in touch to find out how I can help you☺️
