This Afternoon at Furze Hill Lodge some of our ladies enjoyed having their nails painted, one particular lady said she has not got any cash I reassured her she does not need to pay, when her nails were finished she just kept saying she feels so good and such a small gesture can make a massive difference.

At Furze Hill we have enjoyed a friendly competition of Just Bowls, not only is It a good way to engage with others and play games, it is also a very exciting way to promote exercise and we do bowls at least once a week along with other exercises.

Those living with us cheer each other on, keeping count of scores and just having fun.

One of our newest gents, thoroughly enjoyed his first birthday at Furze Hill Lodge.

He was presented with a delicious homemade chocolate cake (his favourite) as everyone sang happy birthday to him!.
