πŸ“Œ Another week flies by! slightly quieter thjs week and we were abke to focus more one one 3 day first aid course (FAW). The client now has 10 new first aiders, and that a great bunch they were.
πŸ“Œ Along side this course, there was plenty of background noise, planning and working with other clients to ensure that their training and H&S needs are met.

πŸ’ The standout moments for us were 3 of the real stories from our delegates, one in particular was truly Inspirational. One part of training we love is that we never know who we'll end up in front of and what they've been through. It was brilliant to learn new techniques from a former Lifeguard which just goes to show how trainer(s) can benefit and learn from their delegates.

Those of you who are following these weekly updates, we can confirm that the Christmas decs are up!!

Take care all, get in touch if we can help with your training needs.

Round Up & Reflection!

πŸ“Œ Another busy and varied week! We worked with several partners, trained 22 new First Aiders.
πŸ“Œ We continued to work with our client at their meat processing plant to improve their Health & Safety culture and produce many new risk assessments.

πŸ’ Once again it is humbling to hear how people have used their First Aid skills for real since the last time they were trained by us. It would of course be better to not have to carry out First Aid for real but it is amazing to hear how people have been able to confidently tackle various situations because they have been trained previously.

There's a 3 day FAW coming up, our fave! Ohh and it's time to put the Christmas decs up!!
Take care all, get in touch if we can help with your training needs.

Last week's roundup!

πŸ“Œ We worked with several clients and partners this week, trained 12 new first Aiders and carried out risk assessments for a meat processing client.
πŸ“Œ Another varied workload which we love, helping clients with training and H&S related matters.

πŸ’ We feel privileged as always to be able to work with like-minded people. Catching up with learners 3 years after we 1st taught them, and learning about their first aid experiences in that time is amazing.

Another all action week is planned!
Take care all, get in touch if we can help with your training needs.

Round Up & Reflection!

πŸ“Œ We worked with 4 different clients this week, trained 5 first Aiders, and 5 Mental Health First Aiders.
πŸ“Œ We worked with one of our partners to improve Workplace culture and safety at a food manufacturing plant.
πŸ“Œ So, another varied week ticks by and each workplace carried differing risks to physical and mental wellbeing.

πŸ’ We feel privileged to be able to work with like-minded people and humbled by some of the stories that learners have shared, in particular during mental health courses.

Forwards into a new week, take care all. Get in touch if we can help with your training needs.

✨️ Round Up & Reflection ✨️
A great week at Safety At Heart

πŸ“Œ We taught another 10 people to become full First Aid (FAW) trained! 3 day courses are incredible and it's so good to get to know people a bit more than a one day course.
πŸ“Œ A mix of Mental Health First Aid training and Fire Extinguisher training rounded off the week, it's always nice to have variation.
πŸ“Œ There's lots going on away from the classroom, planning for upcoming courses and the future!

πŸ’ Having a previous learner call me saying that they had needed to perform CPR for real at a house party was mind blowing! The great news is that the girl who received help promptly survived, moments like this remind me why it's so important to do what I do.

Wishing you all the best
The SAH team πŸ’š

🧠 Mental Health at Work - Not all conversations are about deadlines and targets

Not every workplace conversation has to be about work and the roles we undertake.
Sometimes it’s about spotting when someone isn’t quite themselves.

That’s what Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training is all about:
✨ Noticing the early signs of stress or burnout
✨ Having the confidence to start a supportive conversation
✨ Creating a culture where people feel cared for, not just managed

It’s not heavy. It’s not clinical.
It’s just about looking out for each other. πŸ’™
