🕊 Traffic Light system 🕊
I use this quite often within therapy with individuals and couples. It can be used to help identify and communicate emotional state. It can help to stop emotions from escalating to the point of crisis. When you are aware of this system, either visually or mindfully it can help to regulate emotions and feelings. It can also also help to voice where you are in the current moment.

Learning to sit with your emotions is part of the healing journey and it ok to feel each emotion without guilt or shame.
