.Royal Huddleston Burpee, an American Physiologist, created the Burpee in the 1930s.
.The Burpee was originally meant to be a fitness test. Think about it: you need agility, coordination, and strength to pull off a good Burpee.
3. In WWII, the US Military used the Burpee to check the fitness level of recruits. This launched the Burpee to national popularity.
.Cameron Dorn holds the world record for doing the most Burpees in 24 hours – 10,105! We hate just doing a couple!
.The Burpee is a great at-home exercise. You could even do a few right now. To perform a Burpee, start from a standing position and jump down onto your hands and toes – like the beginning of a pushup. From there, bring your feet up to your hands. Then, jump up with your hands above your head.
