This morning, Gavin left at approximately 06:30 to provide support to a colleague at Robin Hood Crematorium. Upon the gentleman's arrival with a small group of family members, we escorted them into the chapel. We then respectfully bowed and exited, ensuring everyone was afforded the dignity and respect they deserved.

Today, we had the distinct honor of facilitating a dignified farewell for an exceptional individual, a send-off that we believe would have met with her approval. The journey commenced with transportation via a Mercedes hearse, leading to a rendezvous with a distinguished pair of black horses for her final procession. Upon arrival at the church, we were met by a gathering of family, friends, and former colleagues. The service itself was a beautiful tribute, featuring heartfelt commendations that underscored the profound affection many held for her. The ceremony concluded with an interment in the churchyard. Her family and friends honored her memory admirably today, and it was my privilege to ensure that her family's wishes for her final arrangements were meticulously fulfilled.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Janet Jones of Woodside, Watling Street, Grendon, who passed away at the George Eliot Hospital on April 20, 2026. The funeral arrangements for Ms. Jones are as follows:

Monday, May 18, 2026, at St. Leonard's Church, Dordon, commencing at 14:00, with a burial in the churchyard to follow the service.

The procession for Ms. Jones will depart from her residence at approximately 13:25, proceeding past her former place of employment, White's Animal Feeds, and then onward to Dordon Church.

The family of Ms. Jones welcomes floral tributes and extends an invitation to commemorate her life with them at the church.

In lieu of other contributions, Ms. Jones's family has designated the Air Ambulance as their preferred charity.

Hi all been a little quiet here but yesterday we borrowed a fellow funeral directors ambulance to bring a special loved one into our care so gavin and the rest of the team are working closely with the family to provide a celebration of there loved ones life and sharing those precious memories with us so we can provide a service they fully deserve.
