“We honestly couldn’t recommend Tankersley Manor enough. From the lead-up to our wedding right through to the day itself, everything was amazing. The venue is absolutely stunning, but as beautiful as it is, it was the people who really made our wedding what it was. Jess was incredible throughout the whole planning process. She was so attentive and always there whenever I had a question or query sometimes replying within minutes! Anyone who has planned a wedding knows how many random questions pop into your head in the weeks leading up to it, and having Jess there to answer everything and reassure us made such a difference. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and we always felt like we were in safe hands. Then on the wedding day, Hollie was honestly an absolute lifesaver. She made me feel so relaxed from the minute we arrived and completely took away any stress. I genuinely felt like I didn’t have to think or worry about anything because Hollie and the team had everything under control. At one point I needed the bustle doing on my wedding dress and it was SO complicated. Four of my friends were trying to work it out and none of them could manage it 😂 Hollie came over and just sorted the whole thing for me, no problem at all. It might sound like a small thing, but on your wedding day when you’re trying not to stress about anything, having someone like that there is priceless. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. She was there for absolutely everything and made me feel so looked after. The food deserves a review of its own! So many of our guests commented on how lovely the wedding breakfast was, and the evening food went down unbelievably well. Everyone was talking about the pork belly in particular — people are STILL mentioning it now! 😂 The quality of the food throughout the whole day was brilliant and it was one of the things our guests commented on the most afterwards. Something else that really showed us just how far the team will go for their couples was our wedding cake. It unfortunately got ruined on the journey to the hotel and we genuinely thought there was absolutely no saving it. Somehow, the team managed to completely redo the whole cake and when we saw it, you would never have known anything had happened! We couldn’t believe it. Instead of letting us panic about it on our wedding day, they just took care of it and made it beautiful again. That alone tells you the level of service you get here. The whole team throughout the day were fantastic. Everything ran so smoothly, the service was brilliant and nothing was ever too much trouble. Every single one of our guests had the best time and afterwards we had so many people telling us how amazing the venue, the food and the staff had been. Tankersley Manor itself is such a gorgeous wedding venue, but it’s the people and the level of service that really set it apart. There are so many things happening behind the scenes on a wedding day that you probably never even know about, and that’s exactly how it should be. We were able to just enjoy every second because they took care of everything else. We genuinely felt completely spoilt all day. Jess made the whole lead-up so easy and was always there when we needed her, and Hollie was just incredible on the day. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. If you’re considering Tankersley Manor for your wedding, book it. We wish we could do the whole day all over again.
