Califly Doula As your Doula, my aim is that you will feel supported, cared for and listened to. My children were born through two wonderful, physiological home births.

Covering areas within 1 hour from Taunton across Somerset, Dorset and Devon I will keep and hold your birth space to your own needs and requirements wherever you choose to birth, whether this is at home, in your natural surroundings or in a hospital or birth centre. I believe, that you too should have th

e opportunity to naturally follow the rhythms of your body, mind and baby to consciously engage together so that your labour and birth outcome becomes your own positive experience. I have a calm, practical and friendly approach to life. I believe we are all responsible for our own health and therefore our choices and decisions should be recognised and respected. I also offer Mother Blessings, Reiki and massage. I have some knowledge of aromatherapy and homeopathy as I used these successfully for my own pregnancy and birth. I have a birth pool and accessories available to hire. See my Services section for more details. Hello, I'm Ali and I'm a local birth doula.
I live in Taunton and I've been supporting births for over 5 years.

I have attended births in many different settings and would love to walk beside you, discovering your unique pregnancy journey.

I bring knowledge, research and connection, love, openness and care during your wonderful life-changing and transformational experience.

Feeling listened to and having your thoughts acknowledged, your spirit held and your personal and cultural beliefs considered are so important during this most intimate, magical and special time.

I'm also available for at home pregnancy/ postnatal massage and reiki treatments, leaving you feeling relaxed, balanced and not having to drive yourself home afterwards!

Mother blessings are a beautiful way to honour you into motherhood and I am able to facilitate this to create your perfect ceremony.

I cover Somerset and areas in Devon and Dorset, within a 1 hour radius of my home.
