NHS England have been writing to patients if they think patients are no longer living at that address.

When they do this, you MUST reply and follow the instructions in their letter carefully. If you do not reply or do not follow the instructions, they will deduct you from our list.

We have had a few patients who have responded to that letter to confirm their address but NHS England have still sent a request to us to deduct the patient. If we get these and we think you are still at the address, we will check this with you again. If you confirm, we will then reject that deduction. We are sorry if this is duplication - but we are trying to help.

Please do not get angry with us - it is as frustrating for us as it is for you as it creates unnecessary work and stress for you and us.

Did you know? Missed appointments have a direct impact on patient care.
In just one morning, we lost:
🩺 2 hours and 20 minutes of nurse appointment time
👨‍⚕️ 1 hour and 30 minutes of GP appointment time

That’s almost 4 hours of appointments that could have been used to care for other patients.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancelling in advance allows us to offer your appointment to someone else who may be waiting to be seen.

Every missed appointment contributes to longer waiting times and reduced access to care for everyone in our community.

We have sickness in our reception team today, as well as having team members on annual leave. Unfortunately this will result in delays answering the phone.
