The countdown is nearly over, and we’re delighted to invite our local community to celebrate the official opening of Sherwell Manor Care Home.

🕑 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Come and explore our beautiful new home, meet our dedicated team, and discover everything Sherwell Manor has to offer. There will be refreshments, entertainment, and the opportunity to take a guided tour of our stunning facilities.

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the Singing for the Brain Group, provided by the Alzheimer’s Society, to support our local community.
It was truly heartwarming to see so many happy faces, hear familiar songs, and witness the joy that music brings to everyone involved. Moments like these remind us of the importance of connection, friendship, and community spirit.
A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed us so warmly. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with you all and being part of such a wonderful group.
🎵 We’re already looking forward to the next visit — and next time, we’ll be bringing even more goodies with us! 🍰☕

Physical activity plays a vital role in maintaining good physical health, while also having a positive impact on mental health, helping to build confidence, reduce stress, and improve overall wellbeing. It’s inspiring to see the difference these services make to people’s lives every day.

⛳💙 Building Community Connections at Vivary Golf Club

The team at Sherwell Manor Care Home recently had the pleasure of visiting Vivary Golf Club, where we received a wonderfully warm welcome from Hannah and everyone involved.

We were delighted to hear about their plans to further support dementia awareness within the local community through the introduction of regular Alzheimer’s-friendly golf sessions. Initiatives like these play such an important role in raising awareness, encouraging inclusion, and bringing people together.

At Sherwell Manor, community partnerships are incredibly important to us, and we are excited to be building relationships with local organisations that share our values and commitment to supporting those living with dementia.

We can’t wait to work alongside the fantastic team at Vivary Golf Club and look forward to hosting and supporting events together in the future. 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️
