The standard should be higher.

Higher than a quick diagnosis.
Higher than a sheet of exercises.
Higher than being told to “rest and see how it goes.”

At Injury Armour, we’re obsessed with raising the standard of care.

From detailed assessments and objective testing to clear communication and evidence-based treatment, everything we do is designed to give you confidence in your recovery.

Whether you’re an elite athlete, a weekend runner, or simply want to move without pain, you deserve more than guesswork.

That’s why we do things differently.

Come and join us behind the clinic door with Adam and Rugby player Tom, who (in Adam’s words) “is one of the strongest people I’ve ever tested”. 😯

In this behind-the-scenes clip, Tom is undergoing force plate testing as part of his rehabilitation and return to rugby. Using our VALD ForceDecks, we’re assessing not only how much force his hamstrings can produce, but how quickly they can produce it too.

These are the details that often don’t show up in everyday training, but can make a huge difference when it comes to returning to the demands of sport.

One of the things we’re passionate about at Injury Armour is being transparent about what happens inside the clinic. Rehabilitation isn’t always glamorous. It’s testing, measuring, analysing, retesting and making informed decisions based on objective data.

This is what that process looks like.
A genuine moment on the clinic floor, with Tom and Head Physio Adam mic’d up, working through the final stages of getting him back to doing what he loves.

His results were positive I think 👀

Most people think the goal of physiotherapy is simply to get out of pain. But for us, that’s only the beginning.

Because being “pain-free” doesn’t always mean you’re confident. It doesn’t always mean you trust your body again.
And it definitely doesn’t mean you’re performing at the level you want to.

At Injury Armour, our goal is to help you rebuild strength, restore confidence, understand your body better, and return to doing the things that matter to you - properly.

Whether that’s competing, training, running, working, playing sport, or simply living without constantly thinking about pain.

A lot of people think recovery is finished when the pain settles. But anyone who’s been injured knows it’s usually more than that.

It’s trusting your hamstring when you sprint again.
Trusting your shoulder overhead.
Trusting your back picking something up.
We see it all the time in clinic. Someone can be physically doing really well, but still hesitant to fully let go mentally.

That’s why good rehab isn’t just about symptoms.
It’s about building confidence back into the body too.

Raw. Uncut. Behind the scenes with Jack in clinic 🎥

This is what real rehab looks like in real time.

Hip pain doesn’t just affect the joint itself - it changes the way you move, train, walk and perform. Over time, the muscles responsible for stabilising the hip can switch off and decondition, especially when pain and impingement are involved.

At our Taunton clinic, Jack is working with a professional jockey to rebuild strength where it matters most 💪🏽

Using banded, non weight-bearing rehab allows us to target the deep stabilising muscles of the hip without aggravating groin pain. The goal? Restore control first, then gradually build back into stronger, more functional movement patterns.
This is the difference between simply resting an injury… and actually rehabbing it properly.

At Injury Armour, we assess, treat and rebuild athletes with a rehab process designed to get them back performing at their best.
