The Firs Care Centre is a 40 bedded care home located in Taunton, Somerset. We provide care for adults, offering a range of services including residential, nursing, and dementia care. Over the past week, we have enjoyed celebrating Onam with our residents. During our arts and crafts sessions, residents and staff worked together to create a beautiful Pookalam, enjoying the creativity and teamwork involved. Our residents also learned about why Onam is celebrated and found the traditions and history behind the festival fascinating. To further their understanding, we watched fun and interesting documentaries, making the celebrations both enjoyable and educational for everyone. 🌸✨

Lavender, mint, rosemary, roses, clematis, hydrangeas to name a few. Corie has been busy keeping it maintained and Nic our area maintenance man assembled some new garden furniture together 😀
