Hands Up if you have taken on enough water today !
The sun is out, the heat is on — and your body is working harder than you think. 🌞
Whether you've just finished a Reformer class, a Barre session, or a Pilates strength , one of the most important things you can do for your body is rehydrate properly.
Here's why it matters:
When you exercise in the heat, you don't just lose water — you lose electrolytes too. Sodium, potassium, and magnesium are flushed out through sweat, and without replacing them, your muscles cramp, your energy crashes, and recovery slows down significantly.
Water alone won't always cut it. Adding a pinch of sea salt to your water, sipping on coconut water, or reaching for a mineral-rich drink post-class can make a genuine difference to how you feel in the hours that follow.
The signs you need more hydration: fatigue that lingers longer than expected, headaches after class, muscle soreness that feels heavier than usual, or that foggy, flat feeling the rest of the day.
Your body does the work. Give it what it needs to recover well. đź’§
Drink before you're thirsty. Replace what you've lost. And if you're training with us this week, take a moment after class to cool down, breathe, and hydrate — your future self will thank you.
