🌸🌼 What a fantastic first day at the Taunton Flower Show in Vivary Park! Our residents had an amazing time enjoying a lovely packed lunch while exploring the stunning flowers and all the creativity showcased in the competition tent. 🥪🌷

We were entertained by the incredible sight of geese being herded by a skilled dog, and we marveled at the birds and horses on display. Not to mention, the stunt man on the motorbike was a highlight, performing jaw-dropping tricks while juggling electric saws and juggling balls – truly a sight to behold! 🤹‍♂️🚴‍♂️

Everyone had an unforgettable day out filled with fun and laughter. Can't wait for more adventures! 🌟

We had an amazing Summer Fete at Calway House! 🎉 The turnout was fantastic, with a big raffle, a delightful cake stall, tombola, ice cream, drinks, BBQ, hook-a-duck, bean bag toss, bric-a-brac, and a DJ spinning tunes for a disco! 🎶 Our manager Sue and housekeeper Teresa even took a turn in the stocks- what great sports they are!

It was a day filled with fun and happy memories for residents, families, and many visitors who came to see what goes on at Calway. A huge thank you to all the staff, family, and friends who contributed to making this day so special! ❤️

What a lovely surprise! 🌸💐

Our wonderful chiropodist has done it again by generously donating another beautiful selection of flowers for our residents to enjoy. Everyone had a fantastic time arranging the blooms into stunning displays, filling our home with vibrant colours and gorgeous fragrances.

The flowers also inspired a wonderful singalong, with residents reminiscing and singing classics such as Rose Garden, Where Have All the Flowers Gone?, and many more. It was a joyful afternoon full of smiles, music, and happy memories.

A huge thank you for your kindness and generosity, it truly brightened everyone's day here. 💖

🎾🍓 A perfect Wimbledon finale at Calway House! 🥂

To celebrate the final day of Wimbledon, our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon watching the action while soaking up the sunshine and enjoying some classic Wimbledon treats.

There were smiles all around as everyone relaxed with a refreshing Pimm’s and lemonade and delicious strawberries, creating the perfect atmosphere for a little tennis-inspired celebration. 🍓☀️

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with great company, conversation and plenty of Wimbledon spirit. A fantastic way to round off another memorable Wimbledon season! 🎾💚
