I’m Carla Polhill, an integrative psychotherapist and clinical supervisor based in Tavistock, Devon, working with adults in person and online. My specialism is relational trauma, and the foundation of my work is the therapeutic relationship — an empathic, non-judgemental space where difficult experiences can be explored safely and at your own pace. I appear on the Professional Standards Agency accredited registers of the BACP and NCPS (MBACP, MNCPS Acc.).

How to maximise your clinical supervision in a way that supports your professional development, maps out your pathway to accreditation and, most essentially, offers best practice to your clients. This module has been written with student counsellors on placement and newly qualified counsellors in mind, however, it is an excellent starting point for any counsellor or psychotherapist who may have fallen into a less reflective comfort zone with their supervision and is looking for a revival tool.

Give it a go - it's FREE!

"While experience is necessary for flexibility, it is not sufficient. More is needed. The therapist who has let their reflective practice slide, who attends supervision because they have to, who stopped genuinely questioning their own motivations somewhere around year eight are not influenced by wisdom. They are settled in habit and complacency."
