A lovely day of activity and relaxation for our residents today! 💙

This morning, everyone enjoyed a fun chair exercise session, helping to keep minds and bodies active while sharing plenty of smiles and laughter 🪑💪

This afternoon, it was time to sit back, relax and enjoy a movie afternoon with friends, complete with refreshments and great company 🎬🍿

What a truly special milestone! 🎉💖

Today, we are wishing our wonderful Rita a very happy 100th birthday!

Rita has enjoyed a fantastic day, starting with a morning of pampering, followed by lovely visits from her church congregation. The celebrations ended in style with a wonderful surprise birthday party surrounded by her family and friends.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Rita's day so memorable as she celebrated this incredible century milestone.

Today, residents enjoyed getting their hands dirty at our Garden Club, spending time outdoors planting, watering, and admiring the beautiful flowers in our garden. The fresh air and teamwork brought plenty of smiles all around 🌸🌼

This afternoon, our Knit & Natter group enjoyed a relaxing session while exploring the Boots Memory Box. The items sparked many fond memories and wonderful conversations about shopping trips, favourite products, and days gone by. Alongside knitting, a cuppa, and plenty of laughter, it was a lovely afternoon of reminiscence and friendship 💙

We started the week with a wonderful afternoon at our Monday Bowls Club, where residents enjoyed some friendly competition, great teamwork, and plenty of laughs along the way 😊

We also had a showing of the classic musical Carousel, singing along to familiar tunes and reminiscing about beloved musical theatre memories 🎭🎵

Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled morning getting creative with cake decorating, adding plenty of colour, smiles, and delicious finishing touches to their sweet treats 🎨🍰

The relaxation continued in the afternoon with a calming Spa Sunday, where residents were pampered and enjoyed some well-deserved self-care and relaxation 💅🧖‍♀️✨

Meanwhile, in our garden, the tomatoes are ripening beautifully, a lovely reminder of the care and patience that goes into growing something special 🍅🌱

This afternoon, we celebrated Christmas in July with festive singing, plenty of laughter, and delicious homemade snacks from our wonderful kitchen team 🎶🍰☕

Residents enjoyed getting into the Christmas spirit, sharing memories, singing along to favourite festive tunes, and spending time together with friends.

This afternoon our residents had a wonderful session with James Bickley Running - Personal Training and Keep Fit for the Elderly , taking part in both group class and one-to-one support tailored to individual abilities and goals. From improving strength and mobility to boosting confidence and wellbeing, it's fantastic to see everyone getting involved and having fun while staying active.

A big thank you to James for his encouragement and dedication in helping our residents move, smile, and feel their best! 😊🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🌱🍅 Gardening Club Update! 🫛🌿

Our tomatoes and sugar snap peas are making fantastic progress and are thriving in the summer sunshine! 🌞 The group spent time today carefully pruning our plants, removing excess growth to help improve airflow, encourage healthy development, and support an even better harvest in the weeks ahead.

It's wonderful to see the fruits (and vegetables!) of everyone's hard work taking shape. We can't wait to watch them continue to grow and hopefully enjoy some homegrown produce very soon! 🌱💚
