Our residents at Telford Hall enjoyed a lovely cheese and wine afternoon — filled with delicious treats, plenty of laughs and even better company. ❤️

It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon together, enjoying good food, good conversation and making lovely memories! 🥂✨

Residents have loved taking a trip back in time and reminiscing about Telford and its fascinating connection to the Industrial Revolution. ❤️

From the ironworks of Coalbrookdale and the pioneering work of Abraham Darby, to the iconic Iron Bridge and the engineering achievements of Thomas Telford, there is so much incredible history right on our doorstep.

It’s been lovely hearing residents share their memories, stories and knowledge while learning more about the industrial heritage that helped shape the local area. 🏭❤️

A wonderful reminder of how much history there is to discover in Telford and the surrounding Ironbridge Gorge!

Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon in our very own cinema, settling in for a film, some tasty treats and plenty of cosy company. 🥰

Astronomy expert brings solar eclipse to life for Telford Hall residents

We are so lucky to have Tony Sizer, who is getting ready for today’s solar eclipse! Often known as Tony or Anthony, Tony is a British chemist, science educator and long-standing planetarium lecturer at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. Having studied Chemistry at Pembroke College, Cambridge, he has spent decades bringing science and astronomy to life through public lectures, telescope sessions and his passion for sharing the wonders of the universe.
