Court Street Medical Practice At Court Street Surgery we aim to provide high quality health care to all our patients. We are fortunate to have many highly skilled staff.

At Court Street Medical Practice, we work as team, involving the receptionists, managerial staff and all the clinical staff in providing a truly integrated service. Please use all of our team members to help improve your health. Anyone living within the Practice catchment area is welcome to register with us and may do so by contacting a member of the administration team. If you change address plea

se check with reception to see if your new address is still within our practice boundaries. As a patient, we will endeavour to provide you with the best possible health care. In return we would ask that you be courteous to our staff at all times and that you give consideration to other patients who may have more pressing problems. Please do not make unnecessary requests for home visits as they are extremely time consuming and please let us know if you are unable to attend an appointment so it may be reallocated to another patient. We reserve the right to remove you from our list should your behaviour be abusive or violent. We do not discriminate on the grounds of patient's race, creed, sexual orientation or lifestyle.

📢 Important Reminder 🚭

Smoking is prohibited in and around the surgery.

While this has always been our policy, the current hot and dry conditions mean the grass around the surgery is extremely dry and poses an increased fire risk.

For the safety of our patients, staff and the surrounding area, please do not smoke anywhere on the surgery premises or dispose of cigarette ends near the grassy areas.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep everyone safe. 🙏

Almost 90,000 young people had their first MenB vaccination dose in the first two weeks of the new NHS campaign.

MenB can cause serious illnesses like meningitis and sepsis.

You may be eligible for the MenB vaccine if you are:
✅ 17 to 18 years old and born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
✅ Under 25 and starting university or moving into residential further education for the first time

Eligible 17 to 18-year-olds born between these dates can book online if they’re registered with a GP in England.

Eligible under-25s starting university or residential further education can get vaccinated at a participating pharmacy – no GP registration is needed.

You'll need 2 doses, given at least 4 weeks apart, for the best protection.

Search ‘NHS MenB vaccine’ to check eligibility and find out how to get vaccinated.

Heat-health alerts have been issued across most of the country.

Dehydration means your body loses more fluids than you take in. This can be a real problem when it’s hot, especially for babies, children and older adults who are most at risk.

If it's not treated, it can become a serious problem.

Stay safe. Learn more ➡️ https://nhs.uk/conditions/dehydration/
